How to use doTERRA CPTG Essential Oils

Aromatically

Inhale from Bottle :  Take Deep, Slow and Long Breaths and Let the Aroma Permeate for several minutes.

Cotton Balls:  Saturate some cotton with your favorite oils and put around the house or in your car fan or air conditioner grill. 

Diffuse Into the Room:  Put several drops into water. Diffusers will vaporize the water, and oils are released and dispersed into the air with the vapor.   There are many Aromatherapy Diffusers on the market  (See doTERRA’s Lotus Diffuser or Aromatools.com for product lines)  Just adding essential oils to warm steamy water or bath water will diffuse aromatic vapors into the room.

Spray Bottle:   Put about 6 to 10 drops per 1oz of Water and Shake before Spraying.  The Water and Oil molecules separate in the air. Very refreshing!

Bathtubs & Foot Baths:  Put several drops into Bathwater, with Salts to help oils dissolve.

Sauna:   Mix with Water before Putting on Hot Rocks.

Topically

Topical Application  is very Effective and Beneficial because it directly enters the blood stream and tissues, without being hindered or broken down by the digestive system.

Dilute or Mix with “Carrier Oil” or Lotion:  To help Spread onto Skin and into Muscles & Joints.   Use a Roll-On Bottle or Rub directly onto body area or Feet (use cotton socks). (see doTERRA's NEW Unscented Lotion)

Best Carrier Oils:  are: Fractionated Coconut Oil (doTERRA Brand) and Jojoba Oil.   They don’t go rancid and won’t need refrigeration, they’re light and spread well without clogging pores.    You may  use some vegetable oils  (refrigerate): Carrot Oil (Rich in vitamin A) and Borage Oil (popular in skin care) make good carrier oils. Other possible oils include Avocado, Apricot Kernel,  Olive etc.

Mix with Water for Cleansing Surfaces:  Using natural disinfectants such as Lemon or Conifers or Purify Blend. One or 2 drops goes a long way!

Internally

Food & Beverage Flavoring:  Enhance your Taste Buds while getting your Daily Dose of Citrus and other nutrients!  Lemon, Wild Orange Clove, Cinnamon & Peppermint are great in Water, Hot Drinks, Juice, Smoothies & Desserts. 
Cooking, Use oils such as  Lemon, Ginger, Coriander, Oregano, Basil & Thyme Salad dressings, Soups, Pasta, Stir-fry & other dishes.


Essential Oils are 40 to 70 times more potent than dried herbs.

Use Sparingly, so as to not over power your dish.

Gelatin Capsules (or add to honey)  are ways to take stronger doses and for more Medicinal & Supplemental purposes. Put 6 to 10 drops in a capsule and take with water, .

Throat Drops or Gargle:     Drop directly down throat, or put under tongue.

Gargle to fight off Airborne Pathogens.
